ALFORD TOWN
Alford is a historical market town seated at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds (AONB). There is a craft shop selling handmade and crafted gifts, as well as a large number of craft classes in a wide variety of skills; a famous landmark 5 sail windmill to visit (reopening in 2023); a twice weekly local market; the listed Manor House and museum; cafes, pubs, hotels, bric à brac shops, a sewing shop, a wool shop and country walks. It is also host to the renowned Alford Craft Market events that take place every year between Easter and Christmas.
It’s only 7 miles to the stunning, unspoilt North Sea coastline and less than 30 miles to Lincoln, one of the most spectacular cities in the UK.
